Music, and Internet Radio, soothe the savage beast. After, and during, a stressful day, listening to music, especially your favorite tunes, has a certain ability to make you feel better. It penetrates our bodies. If someone says that a certain song or piece of music has moved them or touched them it is very literal. It really has. Listening to Music stimulates more parts of the brain than any other human function. It touches us emotionally, where words alone cannot.

I have assembled over Twelve Hours of non-repeating personal favorites – no single genre of music – From the 1950s on up – a mix of oldies, classic rock, country, pop nuggets, full length versions, extended mixes, and a few unedited album cuts that you may never hear on traditional radio. I’m working on some Jazz favorites as well, and am constantly editing the flow of the station so it makes sense. There are some popular songs that I simply will not play – and the reason is – they are not favorites. Just because a tune is popular does not make it good, lol.

I am proud of this Internet Radio station – Chris Jones Radio – and hope you will ‘Join Together’, enjoy ‘Smoke On The Water’, and ‘Listen to the Music’.  ‘Chris Jones Radio’ is also sprinkled with a bit of personality.

From Forbes:  In 2014, one third of Americans used their phones to stream music. Young adults (18-24) listened to internet radio more than terrestrial. Two of the top five most popular apps in America (Pandora and Youtube) are used for streaming music. With Americans now spending more time on their phones than watching television, there has never been a more opportune time to maximize internet radio experiences.

Special thanks to Kimberly Wright for encouraging me and participating in this endeavor.

These guys make sure the royalties are paid to the music industry. Kinda Cool – of course the stream can also be accessed here at

I have the pleasure (and when I say pleasure I mean it does not feel like work) of programming a widely listened to Internet Radio Station. The idea is to get your Product or Service heard by the Internet Masses, mixed with a continuous flow of music and personality. The flow of the radio station consists of my personal favorites, of which I am sure many of them are your favorites as well. The tunes range from the 50s on up through the years, in a loose chronological order.
